This Day in NBA History: February 10th

1949:
Joe Fulks scores an NBA record 63 points, leading his Philadelphia Warriors to a 108-87 victory over the Indianapolis Jets. The previous record was 48 points held by George Mikan. (His record would be broken by Elgin Baylor ten years later.)

1952:
The Baltimore Bullets defeat the Fort Wayne Pistons 82-77. The Bullets did not make a substitution the entire game.

2002:
Kobe Bryant leads the West to a 135-120 victory over the East in his hometown of Philadelphia. Bryant scored 31 points in just 30 minutes, making him the unanimous choice for the game's MVP.
