Wilt Chamberlain ties his rookie record of 58 points, leading the Philadelphia Warriors to a 129-122 win over the New York Knicks.

1976
Red Holzman wins his 500th game as a head coach. That night, he coached the Knicks to a 102-98 victory over New Orleans in New York.

1993
Utah Jazz teammates Karl Malone and John Stockton become the first duo to share All-Star Game MVP honors. Malone's 28 points and Stockon's 15 assists put the West past the East in overtime, 135-132.
